New "One Trip" refrigerated containers are shipped from Asia with a single container cargo load. These containers are referred to as “new” or in “like new” condition. Once the container reaches its destination, it is often available for sale. These containers are an excellent choice because they have not spent time deteriorating on the ocean or in a container depot or terminal. One-trip containers are ideal if appearance, longevity, and reliability are top priorities. As an option, we also offer used cargo-worthy refrigerated containers.
Used "cargo-worthy" refrigerated containers are most common in the cold storage market. These refrigerated containers are usually ten to fifteen years old. However, they all pass a ten-stage pre-trip inspection. Chassis Depot LLC ensures that all used refrigerated containers match cargo-worthy quality standards.
REFURBISHED refrigerated containers are used cold storage containers with new paint and primer. We clean all (if any) rust spots, apply two coats of primer, and two coats of fresh white water-based paint. The container looks fresh, while the machinery and all the electrical components pass a ten-stage pre-trip inspection to last you several trouble-free years of service.

Each storage container is durable, secure, and weatherproof. The Warranty Coverage Period for New ISO shipping containers is ten years from the date of purchase from Chassis Depot LLC. The Warranty Coverage Period for Used cargo-worthy ISO shipping containers is five years from the date of purchase from Chassis Depot LLC. A leakproof unit guarantee is included.
During the warranty period, Chassis Depot LLC will repair, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or replace units or parts of a container at no charge. The container must prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Each used cold storage refrigerated container comes with 30 days of warranty on machinery and 5 years of leakproof guarantee on the shell itself.
